Wayne and Judy Clark

2019_0139(1).jpeg

Wayne was born and raised in California and Grew up in Sacramento where Wayne’s dad and mom were pastors. Judy was born in West Texas, the daughter of a cotton farmer, in the small town of Jayton.

Married for 51 years, they met at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in the Fall of 1970 and were married on July 9th, 1971, they have 4 children, 16 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

They have pastored in Ohio, Vermont, California, and Texas.  Every church experienced substantial growth. Attendance on Sundays ranged from 30 the first Sunday they were in Greenville, Ohio, to 2000 in San Jose.

The churches Wayne and Judy have pastored have planted and started 8 new churches. They have also come alongside dozens more with financial support and other supportive measures.

The Clarks believe in and live Missions, both at home and abroad. Wayne has always said, “You cannot be close to Jesus and not feel His heart for the lost of the world.”

Pastor Clark has served at both district and national levels in leadership.  He presently serves on the National Board of Network 211 and on the Board of Builder’s International. Most of all, Wayne and Judy are pastors, and love being shepherds to the people of God and leading them to fruitful, personal, and collective growth.

Who We Are

The ministry, Seniors With Purpose (SWP) will challenge our District Seniors to remain engaged, loyal, and faithful to their local churches, as well as provide ministry and fellowship opportunities on Sectional, Regional, and District levels. There will be a Missions element as we capture our demographic potential.

SWP has a motto- “No coasting to the finish line”. Seniors are one of the most valuable, and sometimes

under-utilized resources the church has. We want to be engaged in God’s wonderful Kingdom and be useful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Our vision is big, full of spiritual purpose, fulfilling, and filled with fun times! The development of the Leadership Team is critical. This is not just ministry to Seniors! This is a ministry by Seniors!

We are excited about the vision and we are anxious for it to all unfold. Gonna be a fun ride! Hope you jump on board and come with us!

Eight of our FIG Senior Ministry members attended the Senior Summit. One said he came back with “definitely a different perspective on things.” The Seniors from our churches, and those in your churches, have a purpose in life and I will be sharing this in our next FIG gathering!

Senior Summit 2022 has been rich in fellowship and the Word.
